THE ZENDO PROJECT
The Zendo Project is the author of the 4 Principles of Psychedelic Harm Reduction. They are an organization created by MAPS (the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) which offers trainings, education, and support services at large scale music and arts festivals. They also have a free manual for supporting people experiencing difficult psychedelic experiences.
WOMEN'S VISIONARY COUNCIL (WVC)
The WVC is a psychedelic non-profit that advocates for the inclusion of women in critical discussions about the safety of psychedelics and ethical considerations surrounding their use. They host various congresses and events as well as provide free risk reduction information on their website such as "Safety Tips For Participating in Psychedelic Ceremonies" and "Risk Reduction For Community and Event Organizers."
MANUAL OF PSYCHEDELIC SUPPORT
Compiled by a number of leaders in the field of psychedelic harm reduction, this manual is a comprehensive how-to for creating a psychedelic support service at a festival/event. The digital copy is free to download.
DANCESAFE
DanceSafe is a 501(c)(3) public health organization promoting health and safety within the nightlife and electronic music community. They provide fact-based information and educational resources related to substance use, sexual health, and more. They also provide drug checking services at some events. Drug checking kits can be purchased through their website.
EROWID
Erowid is a member-supported organization providing access to reliable, non-judgmental information about psychoactive plants, chemicals, and related issues.
LUCID NEWS
"Lucid News provides informed, honest and transparent journalism that covers the growing integration of psychedelics into society and their broad implications for human wellness."
They also have a video series called "The Psychedelic Orientation Series" full of excellent information for anyone thinking about trying a psychedelic.
